One thing I have found that works is to save any shavings from drilling on your yak. Put them in a baggie and save them for minor repairs. These shavings/scraps mixed with a NEW soldering iron and a delicate touch, can be very helpful.

I use a covering iron from www.towerhobbies.com. The heat is adjustable and it is teflon coated so the plastic doesn't stick (much).

Found several years

Found several years ago if you called the company they would or used to send you pieces of scrap or welding rod to use if you told them the color you needed.

Had three different companies do that for me several years ago.

Yes, Ocean Kayak did it for me a couple of years ago and they included instructions on how to make the repairs. I just called them on their 800 number and the stuff was delivered in two days. :D
