I hope to see you there, we attend every year. we will be at the number 5 site. My best suggestion is any thing with legs, wether top water or sub surface,. This is a great riveer to flyfish, we have often had 100 fish days. Pearch/bass/ catfish. again hope to see you there Don/ lockjaw_tx

I would suggest going to morgan shady r.v. park , and use thier launch. This is in downtown Junction( Face courthose, Right side is 6th street. follow that back to park) cost is five dollars and well worth it. You can fish over a mile in either direction.

I am sorry to disagree with all of these folks , but I am going to. Launch your kayak at Rio and then go upstream, to the bend , start fishing there. then move downsrteam past the wier damn. There are pleanty of holes to fish, if you wade you will be losing out on some of the best fishing. Rio will ...
