I'm wanting to fish tomorrow and not sure if I'll have time to take out the kayaks. If I can't I think I'll hit the pleasure island levees. How do they normally produce this time of year? Would I be better of at the north or south levee? Thanks

I had the same idea but I never took it as high tech as you did. I guess you'll never know till you try. I might make one with electrical tape anyway just to see if it holds up.

We'll I had to use .80mm trimmer line, but I Managed to make some single sleeves from academy work and made a few leaders. I also figured out that a hammer is much faster and more effective than a cheap crimping tool. Now I just have to get out there and try them out.

One more question, where do y'all get your crimps? I've been all over town to academy, walmart, and gander mountain and none of them have double barrel sleeves. Do y'all just order them online?

What is the advantage of mono over wire? Wire seems a whole lot cheaper.
