I have only fished the southern part of the lake. Lots of standing timber. I've only caught blacks there but have seen whites schooling in the past. Haven't been there this year yet!

Well I got my first Yak today! Assend FS12T! Been rigging it out today! I haven't figured this photo thing out on this site yet, so I can't get one on here....oh well! I'm ready to hit the lake!!

I'm new at this kayak fishing but have been to fork before. What part of the lake do you like to go with the kayaks?

I have done some good at mustang creek with my two man bass buggy. I stayed at mustang resort there. Had some good trips there.

Thanks for the info. I haven't got my yak yet but can't wait to get on the water. I haven't fished in awhile and have congestive heart failure for 2 years now. I'm thinking I will be able to fish and be just fine in the kayak as long as I take it easy! Thank you all for the inspiration that you have...

Thanks for all the info!! I'm just in the research stage of this type of fishing. I love to bass fish,but havn't had a boat of any kind in years. I am a heart failure patient and wasn't sure how strenuous it would be, but after watching the videos, I really think I can do this if I keep smart about ...

This may be a stupid question, but, I'm new to all this. My question is why do you put the sealed feeder batteries in a water proof box? Thank you for your time
