Re: trout Support DVD's
I asked for and received the original Trout Support DVD as a gift a couple years ago. Great info, but a little more useful if you had a motor on your vessel. Tobin has stated that the Shallow/Marsh Redfish course is one of the better ones for kayaks, and I might buy it soon.

Thanks for posting! I fished about this time on the northern side of the lake near the gate. According to my sonar, there were fish in those deep holes, but none seemed interested in my lures.

If you're on Facebook, I'm an admin for the Houston/Galveston/Freeport BTB Kayak Fishing group.
Mythman, Wolfman, and heatstroke are members. I try to keep the nonsense to minimum. It's slow this time of year, which is perfectly fine with me.

It's pretty simple ladies and gents. I got some a couple of months ago. Just mail in the check per this thread (announced on most if not all of the boards. Takes a few weeks to get in because I'm sure Tom/TKFStubb stay pretty busy. Hopefully he stayed dry during the flooding last week. http://www.t...

Re: Lighthouse lakes/redfish bay
I'd double-check with the game warden (either call or Facebook message). I hunted in the area about 5 years ago, and I think we were west/further inland of LHL. Nice catches. I'm all about Gulp, Vudu, or Z-man lures under a cork, especially the shrimp imitation ones.

Sorry to hear that Professor. At least your recovery started now (near the end of BTB season) vs. something like late spring time.
