Thanks for the replies. Just an update. I spoke with the VP of my current insurance agency out of Victoria today. They are not retiring or closing. He stated that Hochhiem Prairie wanted to cut their liabilities along the coast and just quit letting them represent Hochhiem Prairie as of December 30....

In that area between CosWay bait stand ant the intracoastal is an old oilfield road bed called sulpher road. Good fishing that most people just drive by. It runs just parallel to the highway. Used to fish it a lot back in the day when I lived in CC. Just saying.....cC

With braids I have always used green. Although back in the day when using dacron(Danged thumb burner), it was always white or a light shade of tan. Just saying..........cC

Wow! That is a slick looking kayak, congrats. Just curious of what material it is made of. I had a Hurricane Phoenix 16 for a lot of years, it was manufactured with trylon, very slick and tuff. The Eddyline sure looks a lot like. Enjoy…………cC

An Ocean Kayak Caper was my first for a couple of years, then a Ocean Kayak Prowler 13 which was a good up grade. Ended up with a Hurricane Phoenix 16 from Jerry Bs, wow! Now that was a slick ride. Just saying…..cC

Not yet, and yes I am with you on this, true hatred for electrical problems. I did replace the power switch about a year ago without success on the intermittent problem. I do think it is probably in the power wire to the switch, although having to get back up under the back deck just about requires ...
