Re: Bakers Crossing - not open to the public

River Runner, there were two camping areas at Bakers, the North/East side and the South/West side, which is divided by Hwy 163, I believe this is what he was talking about.

I have a couple of non-inflatable ones I got several years ago and they work ok. The only problem I had was coming back from the river in a rainstorm. The straps crush the weatherstripping on my 4 dr Dodge p/u and had rivers coming into the truck.

Three Rivers Archery has one that is about $40. Comes unassembled, but very easy to put together. Everything was pre-drilled. Put some stain on it and looks pretty good. Pegs for 4 bows and 12 arrow clips.

Hwy 163 is shut down around the 163/189 inters...

New Law ?

Saw in the San Angelo paper that their is a group trying to get a bill passed that outlaws guns and bows in boats, except for shotguns. This article was specific about the commisioners court in San Angelo as the group is trying to get counties with rivers in them on board and have the support of cou...

Spring Creek Marina is a good camping spot on the south end of Nasworthy. Is in a no wake zone. Have not had any luck fishing that area tho. From there you can head into the main lake body, and the jet ski's and big boats. But it is a nice campground with good access.
