Re: Paddle boards for fishing
I have several inflatable stand up paddle boards (SUP's) in Thailand and in China and I love them for paddling around. But I'd be very leery of fishing from them, especially where there are barnacles. Stick to a hard board if you'll ...

Re: 7-28-19 - Christmas Bay PACK trip (trip leader)
I was going to ask about the inflatable as well. I have a NRS Pike that I use on rivers but have been to afraid to use it in the marsh. My wife wants to take it sometimes just to paddle around, now I can’t say it won’t be good. Iguess an ounce of prevention...and all that.
And nice report. Thanks!

Re: Another tragedy
Simply put, we need to learn from this tragedy. If something dreadful happens to me kayaking, it is not because I was not wearing my PFD. As soon as I sit in my kayak, first thing I do is locate the inflatable handle. I carry my whistle and multi pliers in the pockets.

Re: Inflatable Fishing Kayak - Part 2
I just looked it up, very similar specs (looks practically identical to the seaeagle 350fx hehe). Same or maybe even better Denier rating on the material (though the seaeagle says it's got double layers in the tube sides and floor, really no idea what they mean but I can only guess). I'd imagine you...

Re: Inflatable Fishing Kayak - Part 2
I have an NRS Pike that I use on the river. I had originally planned on using it in the marsh but the guy that got me going said it would get shredded by oyster and I would have to get a helicopter to get out! It to has a bottom/outer floor like rafts do that I thought would protect the air chambers...

Inflatable Fishing Kayak - Part 2
Since I've not had any luck fishing lately (attempted Bayou Vista area on Saturday, 3.5 hours with 2 bites to show for it and no fish), thought I'd follow up with my older post - http://www.texaskayakfisherman.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=246805 I've alluded to it in other posts, but I ended up...
Free sail
Free sail and aluminum rigging. I bought a Windglider multi-purpose watercraft some years ago. The " boat part" was a flat, inflatable raft. The raft part failed and I junked it. The sail is still here. If you want it, come and get it. No, I do not want to take it apart and measure ...
