I picked it up in San Marcos at T G Canoe. I was pretty impressed with their selection, but I drove the 200 miles for the COOSA, Iv'e been following your posts and I am supper excited to get it wet. Iv'e been kayak fishing for a few years but this is my first BRAND NEW one. I'm not real sure I like the resessed ovals, T G said they were designed for the RAM mount system, which I dont really like, I prefer the Scotty. Kinda wish, rather then the indented ovals it was just flat surfaces, but I'll figure it out. The white feet area might also turn out to be a bad idea. I'm wondering how the sun will reflect off of it.

The ovals were designed for Talon mounts, which I believe will accept Scotty or Ram. The white should be cooler than other colors.
You are going to love it. I paddled 23 miles in it last week and was refreshed at the end of each day. No butt lag.
I'll post pics of the next addition when it gets to the dealer. I ordered a Red with Black to go with my Camo one.

Icso41,

Am thinking the blue on white may be the best color for sight casting, sorta like the underside of fighter aircraft and, from below, it won't look like a gator or a very large osprey. Proabably cooler as well, since it is more reflective. However, it will probably drive me nuts, when I get one, trying to keep it clean. Had the cash set aside for the boat you bought, but got busy and couldn't get over to San Marcos for a demo and purchase.

So,, I hope you enjoy my boat.

They have more coming in. Then when you get yours we can go fishing since3 apparently we live close to each other...

When I called JK to order Thursday he told me they are 6-8 weeks out due to the kayak taking off at the dealerships. Dealer orders are over expectations.
Good thing with being a team member I will get moved to the front of the line.

fishodeath...I am enjoying YOUR new kayak. took it out today got it muddy but not slimmy, thats two times in a row that I have gotten skunked. I'm not liking that too much. but man is the coosa comfortable. and it is not as hard to paddle as I thought it would be. I'm have been fishing out of an old 16 foot w/s tarpon and it is FAST, this one isn't. But I never thought it would be. And it tracks pretty good. I was very impressed. AND the blue/white is cool. I thought that the white would reflect sun light right into my eyes, but it really didnt. and standing up is no problem, even for my old crippled ass.

does anyone know where to find the TARPON mounts, or what ever type of mounts that the ovals on the coosa are designed for.

Those are really nice but damn ! those are pretty expensive too. I goo back to the "I think that Jackson should have just made it flat rather then indent the ovals. would have made it so much easier and cheaper. but honestly It already has everything that one would need. Plenty of storage. plenty of places to rest/set the rods I might end op putting a few of the "powered" connectors on it. so that I can mount lights and stuff like that. thanks for the link, I was mispelling it talon instead of tallon, but I got it now.

That red and black is nice too. I'm kinda liking mine more though LOL... Mine kinda looks like the sky on a perfect day. When I called T G and they told me that it was white and blue I just thought that it was blue on the top and white on the bottom OR white on top and blue on the bottom, at the time it never crossed my mind that it was swirled together. kinda like sky camo LOL. but very "different"

The blue and white is a standard color for them Very popular. The red and black is special order. I do like your color scheme too. I wish I would have stopped and looked at that.
