Academy is still family owned by a gentleman and his grandson. Iinterviewed with their corporate offices about 7 years ago as a graphic designer. I had asked then about taking them to an e-commerce site and was told, "We want to drive the customers to the store so they will by more while they are there." I guess times change. Glad to see it.

I also ordered some stuff from the clearance section. It beats going every wednesday to see what they put on clearance. Shipping seemed high though, 9 bucks for lures and worms.

I just spent over an hour going through the whole clearance section.Was logged in, picked my saved address for delivery ( which it said was free on my $165 order) and now it says it can't process my address! I've went through it 100 times. No luck. Gonna leave the computer on that screen and call 4 help @ 9:00. Hope my order is still there in 2 hours.
