I am sorry but our sponsors really need it to be on a Friday. The guys donating the larger dollars look to make this tournament a working type vacation. If we ran it on a Saturday, we would draw more of one group of anglers and lose another group and it would probably turn out to be a wash. But on the sponsor dollar side we would lose a tremendous number of those dollars doing the tournament on a Saturday. We also thought about running a Friday/Saturday event but we don't have the energy for that one.

As of this afternoon we have 113 kayak registrations turned in. I have given up trying to keep track of who is who on the first page. I know we have not received forms for many kayakers who are gonna be there so please get you entries in so I can ensure you get the shirt size you want and we order the right amount of food. Thank you to everyone who is coming out and I hope eveyone has a great time.

My boss canceled my entry. Luckily the mail hadn''t gone out. Something in me kept saying not happening. Pissed as all get out about it. What is worse I have a meeting for 3 hours when I should have been at the Captains Meeting. I am sure my mind will not be in it. I need a new job.
