news flash...giant fisherman catches trout...

Post by slowride »

this fish wasn't really as small as it looks. it's more like this guy is big. and i mean that in a good way because he could squash me with one hand.

he swallowed the fish whole, right after the shot. i freaked!

not really, just kidding, it's my little attempt at funny.

i'm probably gonna pay for that, but it is funny.

A guy that says probably sits Dean at the front straddling the bow and whips him with that fishing pole while telling him where to paddle.

He looks like a redneck so I should be ok if he gets upset at y'all for poking fun at him. Poor guy can't help he's so big. I bet he's got a heart the size of a football and loves his mother, apple pie, and the U.S of A. Y'all should be ashamed! :P

Dean, feel free to delete your initial post. I was praying for you that the giant was from some other state where they don't have internet access.

I know all about this giant.

Post by Jackfish1 »

I know him because he's my son. He is a TKF'er, lives in Rockport and actually rides on a drifter. At this time he's down to around 310 and stands about 6'4". Played football in high school at Odessa Permian, two state championships, in three years. Went to college on a track scholarship, graduated from UTA. No he didn't run, discus, shot, hammer. He is as gentle as he is big and I couldn't be prouder of how he's turned out. The only problem I ever had with him was feeding him. If you get a chance get to know him, you will like him. He will also fish with you at the drop of a hat.

I met him right after I moved to Rockport. There was an add for a Hobie Outback placed for him and I bought it here in Rockport. His enthusiasm for fishing is second to none.
Pretty cool when we can talk to complete strangers like we were old friends all because we have a common interest.

Hey Jackfish! Well, I know as we get older, our memories fade but I was fishing with Scott & Dean that day. I seem to recall some stories of his younger days. Something about young driving experiences with trucks & a blazer out by some stock ponds. Met Scott last year great guy.

I knew that big fella probably was a TKF'er! He just looks like the kind of person who would WANT to be a TKF'er!

Is his name Scott? What's his TKF board name?

Hey Dean
No sweat, remember how you said you could take him at the TKF party?
Just stay with the original plan. Bite him on the knee then run like hell. It ought to work because you're in your Tutu and he's still got his waders on.
