KK, I've updated the list. CajunCaster now has my spot and Chaz has my dad's spot. I'll be calling Troy to let him know.

Man did that ever get me in trouble. Camille read it and just gave me one of those "looks". I thought it was pretty funny. Oh well. It's still funny to me.

You carry a badge and a loaded weapon and are still defenseless against the "LOOK". Not a good way to start out the weekend, my friend.

chandeluer trip

Post by WORK2PLAY »

Jim Wilson and Ron Wilson will unfortunately not be able to make the May Chandeluer trip. Anyone who wants our spots they are available to a mere $100 a piece deposite already in Capt. Troy's hands. Call Ron at 281-723-9386.

Ron,

I thought I had those two spots. Maybe I was late in getting your phone mail. I responded tonight after work. Check your pm and phone mail.

Thanks.

Me!

Post by Parrothead »

Im so pumped about this trip. I will finally be able to shut my wife up about not bringing home any fish to eat! Are there any cigar afficionados besides me on this trip?

Maybe we should plan a get together at the Houston Boat Show to go see Troy.

Pumped??????I went last June and had an absolute awsome adventure. Almost cried when the hurricane blanked out our trip. Can't wait until May, so, Lets Go, try to get a trip together before.

Anyone who hasen't been, should really look into it. Great fishing, great scenery, great food, and best of all, great bs from a group of great guys.

I go for Arturo Fuente Hemingways, or on those rare ocassions, an Opus X. I'll probably have a good supply of for the trip. A good stogie and a cocktail at sunset ain't bad.

I took a stab at the roster on another post:
http://www.texaskayakfisherman.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20434&highlight=chandeleur

I have 11 people, so there's another seat I haven't accounted for. Not to say it's available. I talked with Troy Fountain Saturday. He said KK is keeping track of the list. KK hasn't confirmed my list. You may want to try contacting him for openings.

The list has changed several times as people sell their spots.

I also hear LetsGo is trying to organize other trips. Personally I think going to the Chandeleurs twice in two years is going to burn me out (yeah, right  ) I'd like to do one of those Florida trips next if it could be worked out.

Hey Phil,

Can you update the trip list? I talked to Troy Fountain on Monday. It looks like he has 10-11 on his list.

Also, you refer to me as Back fill for Hoosierplug on your list. That sounds like a plumbing problem!

BTW for you guys going on this trip that are thinking about a new rod, but are scared to death of what wifeo might say, I won't tell you about the numerous custom rod builders at the show that are making nice deals.

Hey Norm,

As I know it, here's who I can think of that I know for a fact is on Troy's list.

1) Kingwood Kayaker
2) Kingwood Kayaker's Dad
3) Parrothead
4) Cajun Caster
5) Animal Chris
6) Chaz

White Dog, did you take a spot on this trip? According to Troy, we've got 11 people on the boat but I'm not sure who they are. If you believe you are on this trip, please call Troy to confirm your spot because he is holding the master list. (228)669-9579

I bought the deposits from Work2Play (Ron Wilson) and Jim Wilson. The deal for both was made through Ron. I told Troy about the deal. Troy said you have the list, but he will follow up with Ron.

I asked Ron to notify Troy after the check cleared which has been a while now. I pm'd Ron today asking him to notify both you and Troy. He probably forgot over the holidays, and will follow up once he sees the message.

Can we get an updated list? Jolly Roger wants to know if there is an opening. He is a phenominal fisherman and a friend I would really like to see go on this trip.
