Ride along with Daniel

Hi TKF BTBers!

This summer I plan on making some YouTube offshore rig fishing show called "ride along"

The boat used will be a Hobie Tandem Island; the areas covered in the video will be Surfside, Matagorda, and Corpus. The goal of the video will be a learning experience of a ride along in a kayak sailing craft, fishing techniques, rig fishing, trolling, and equipment used.

I will be asking or looking for volunteers in the "ride along" to be a part of the video, I will get you on camera fishing on the TI, asking you questions on the experience, most importantly having fun, and may require some video assistance, also it will be a plus if you have your own camera if you want to bring it along, but not needed.

So I will be asking random BTB TKFers from these areas that will be fished. Or if you want to participate let me know.

Only thing I require from you is for you to wear a PFD at all times. This is a voluntary thing so come at your own risk.... don’t worry I will have all the safety equipment on hand.

Depending on the day and weather/water conditions we will be in the offshore range of 2 to 10 miles offshore, for example Freeport we will be in the 6 to 7 mile range, Matagorda 7 to 10 miles, and corpus 4 to 7 mile range.

Hobie sport will do just fine BTB, slower but pick your days and you will be fine.

I would be interested. Never had the chance to fish BTB. It is a little intimidating since I am used to fresh water. But, with a experienced BTB'r I would go in a second.
