Houston Wildlife Pic

Post by vincent »

Not kayak related, but thought it was cool. My brother Sam took this pic outside his office window yesterday. This fox got up...walked around...but mainly curled up and slept in the sun all day until sundown, then took off.
His office is in the Westpark Dr. Fondren area in that office park neighborhood.

Pulled into the long driveway this morning at work and off to my right were two gray fox running into a big cedar break right as it was breaking day. Wish i had a camera with me. Its funny cause the same two gray fox have been seen sitting inside the outside break area just chillin! 8)

If you feed them, they will come. We like the "rockies" aka "Rockie Raccoons".

The red tail hawks are here in force and I just saw my first hummingbird yesterday.

I don't think feeding wildlife is recommended, you will eventually run into some type of problem, especially with coons.

Not sure just saying, seems to me that's what all the wildlife experts recommend anyways.

Vincent...........I lived in that area for about 30 years...........I saw all kinds of wildlife to include deer, geese, cayote. One morning my wife and I were setting in the back yard having a cup of coffee when we heard a woman screaming her lungs out in our front yard. I grabbed my pistol and went to the door. The screaming woman turned into about 5-6 Peacocks......they were big and some how had gotten trapped in our front patio.........
