I got hydroid-ed yesterday while fishing a lake up in St Joe Island - north of Port A.
Pretty late in the spring for them to still be around and the water temps are in the low 70s . WT ---- ?
I had on neoprene - knee high socks and fishing pants and they still got me right above where the socks ended at my knees. Yikes !

So -- if you are allergic to these little dudes, and fishing the coastal bend, you might want to keep your waders on for awhile.

Running tights tucked into your wade boots will do a pretty good job if you are yaking or wading shallow..
I heard about a guy who was wading chest deep over by Shamrock Island and he got a rig of stings around his upper torso.

As much as I hate waders (breathable), I would rather sweat than itch....Hate the roids!!!!
