...Mr. Richg99 has decided to head the group up. I'm still around but have lost momentum in representing you. Mr. Rich has decided to take over and I wish him the best.
He'll be contacting you fine fellas soon with his agenda. Please support him and this great group of guys.
I hope to see you all at the next meeting.

Re: New President for TKF NW Chapter ---- Introducing...
Thanks, Brice. As soon as I get the member list I will email everyone directly.
I have, tentatively, received permission to hold the initial meeting at the REI
at the corner of FM1960 (Cypress Creek Parkway) and Hwy 249.
REI 17717 Tomball Pkwy, Houston, TX
I am thinking of the First Tuesday evening of every month, which would give us a start next week! That date is only my thought. I need input from the attendees, too.
Time would be 6:45 for a get-together with the actual meeting starting at 7 and running until 8:45 at the latest, as REI would probably want us out of there by then.
There are a number of sandwich shops, bars, etc. nearby. Some are in walking distance, if we want to extend the meeting, or have a pre-meeting dinner some time.
ALL are invited. I'd love to hear from any and all of you as to what you want the chapter to focus on; maybe available speakers, trips, etc.
I've given a thought, for the initial meeting, of having Brice bring his SOLO SKIFF to the parking lot. I know a lot of us have talked about the boat. This would be a way to see it in person. Any other ideas or thoughts would be appreciated. I have not officially asked Brice to do that, as of yet.
I have been pleased to attend a number of fine meetings of the NE Houston TKF chapter in Kingwood. That is a long drive for me, and a longer drive for some of you. I hope this group will be as creative and interesting as the guys at NE have been.
Your help and comment appreciated. You can post here, or PM or email me.
regards, Rich
