I'm thinking that your feet / legs never touched the water after that incident, right? How far from the yak did the shark strike?

It hit the red about 10 feet from my kayak. After the pics the remains went right back in the water.
And from the size of that shark tail that came thrashing out of the water it did make me nervous having a bleeding redfish on my lap 8)
