The New Rig!

Post by Mojo227 »

The KC K 12 was designed with the salt water marshes along the coast in mind. Turns out its a pretty dang good river boat as well! Super stable platform and paddles great from a standing position.

This will be my next yak for sure. I just bought a Nucanoe for the ability to be able to go tandem when the wife or kids want to go. If I'd of been buying a solo yak, this would have been the one.

It is suprisingly not as slow as it looks. Granted, you loose some speed to gain stability but it paddles decent.

i really want one of these as well. Lots of advantages over the commander I have (self bailing, lighter) but probably slower.

It is a slower paddle then the Commander but not by much.

Glad they updated the colors. For the longest time they only had that flesh colored model which IMHO was the ugliest color for a kayak I had ever seen. I'm sure the fish don't care but I have to protect my fashion model reputation.
