Re: TKFSA Member Kayaks
Hey everyone...this is my first post on the site. I bought my first kayak last weekend and can't wait to get it in the water. Jackson Big Rig in Desert Camo with a Raymarine Dragonfly fish finder. Already had memorial day plans elsewhere but its first trip out will be at Calaveras on the 31st.

Welcome to the forum!
I'll be watching out for you showing up at Calaveras! We need more kayakers out there, and we watch out for one another, the more the better!

Finally got around to snapping a couple of pics...here she is all rigged out (just add water ):
Re: TKFSA Member Kayaks
I started with an old school wilderness Ride, but sold it soon after buying it. then, I bought a Torque which I loved, but the wifey wanted a yak too and with cash being scarce nowadays, I elected to sell the torque and buy two other yaks with the funds. last week, while at academy in NW San Antonio I purchased a Pescador 12 after getting $100 off the listed price due to some minor surface scratches. I ended up paying $399 plus Uncle Sam. The wifey liked the red Pescador so got a new Pescador 13 from TG canoes in San Marcos. It's essentially a Search 13, which I love. Here they are waiting to get rigged out. trolley, fish finder and some 30milesOut stickers are the first mods intended. any suggestion or thoughts are welcomed.

New to kayak fishing and to the area. Looking to have fun and meet some new folks. My focus right now is Lake Braunig cause I am wanting to see what the reds are like there.
