Brazos between anson and Albany off hwy 180?

Drove over it on the way back from Hubbard creek today and there's quite a bit of water, and it looked like some people had parked next to the bridge to fish, has anyone out in a yak here? And if so, how was the fishing?

Also, how's the fishing off the Brazos between mineral wells and Palo pinto off 180? I'm hoping I can find some places to catch some big river flatheads and blues, but bass are fun to catch as well!
