Boerne Lake alive and well

I spent a few hours on the yak at Boerne Lake this afternoon. it didn't take long to hook up on bass with the flyrod. while fishing the shoreline, I could hear and see schools of bass in the middle of the lake. for the next 2hrs I caught schooling white bass and LMB on a fly, small crankbait and a top water plug. I counted 4 or 5 schools feeding at once. The action was fast and non-stop. I'm glad the flooding from earlier in the year didn't but a damper on the fishing.
