Nice Plecostomus! Whats the story behind that? I see them all the time on the Comal but I've never caught one.

P.s. Whats the story behind that big Smallie in your new avatar?

The Pleco was a Comal inhabitant, and along with another friend of his and a few tilapia, succumbed to legal means other than a rod and reel... they were speared and gigged.

Zack that 20.25" Smallie in my avatar was an early birthday present to myself... caught on a topwater frog when Sparrow was giving me a hard time about fishing with a topwater frog in February.
