Any rockport reports?

Curious if all the fresh water are still running through the bays and how the fishing has been down in that part of Texas. Headed down there this weekend to catch some fish.

Fresh water trouble is gone. Caught two 17" trout at the Aquarium Jetty this morning. Lots of fish cleaning happening at the cleaning tables. If it is a lure make sure it has some white and chartreuse in it. If it is natural small croaker and mullet are the best lately. Pinfish work well at the PA jetties and Packery.

it's plenty fishy. Fresh water not too big a deal. It's hot so fish flats close to deep water access....not too hard to find in Rockport area. I fished Rattlesnake point launch a week ago....posted a report in the reports section you can check out.....and had some good blowups at the end of port bay rd. Good luck! Ingelside can be good this time of year as well....just need the tide to be moving.....

OOOPS I forgot to mention that. you are right no tide movement no fish. tide movement fish. Really simple in this hot weather.

Thursday report 3 17" trout from the jetty pier at the Rockport Harbor this morning.

Nice fish. Artificial or live bait? Are there any coves to get away from the wind around rockport?

H and H curly tail glow/chart 1/4 oz jig head. Back side of Rockport/ Fulton is wind protected in summer. Always some place to get out of the wind between Lamar and Port Aransas.

I fished last week.
Copano, Ransom, Ingleside and only caught a few undersized specks and reds. No keepers. I'm glad to hear that the freshwater is not an issue.
