Sea Rim - 3 kayakers 30+ fish caught
Got to Sea Rim early and was greeted with a mini rainstorm coming thru...........minus the rain...........just wind.
Soon Rafter and Wolfman57 show up...............we aren't going to let an angry surf stop our launch............nor the 2=3 ft. swells offshore.........so we all were on the water by 9 am.
I caught three fish the first hour, my first was a 51/2 ft bull shark:
Then two bull reds.............first one:
And before I could release the first, another:
Then I sat for a while............ and finally get another bull red.
Then I sat...........and sat.............and sat some more while my fishing partners were catching one fish after another.
So I moved from 8 ft. to 10 ft. where they were. I still sat for 30 minutes and then BAMB!!! It turned on!
This was a day of furious activity and long waits in between.......the next 20 minutes I catch 4 fish.
Then I get this strong hookup that was about to spool me..............so I unhook and take a 1/8 mile sleigh ride. I thought I had a shark............but no I had the largest Bull Red I have ever caught!! I don't know exactly how big, cause he was so big I couldn't reach to properly measure him............but he was over 50 inches.
This fish was so heavy, I almost couldn't lift him to put him back in the water!
I catch one more bull red, which is a whole lot smaller:
Then it shut down for us............well for most of us.
We were off the water by 2:15 pm.
It was a day of horrific wind, then calm, then wind and then decent.
The wind came up for real and for the long term as we hit the beach!
It was a great day of catching and great fellowship with my fishing partners. I will let the other guys tell their stories.

Let's get out there, man All these awesome reports are giving me the itch.
This site is showing decent conditions for next week, with Thursday possibly being a really nice window.
