I am retired, and I am interested in finding someone that would be interested in fishing the Upper Gulf Coast marshes such as Sea Rim- Stingaree and Keith Lake. Posted 9-15-18

I didn't go. I'm planning to make a few trips out there during the end of September and in October.

There is a group of old-timers who regularly BTB fish the High Island area, and less often the Sea Rim area. I'll let you guys know when we're going out.

Are you a weekend warrior, or can you fish during the week? Most of our group can get at least the occasional weekday off. The rest of us are free to fish whenever the conditions are right.

Just a word of caution for the newbie fishing at Stingaree in the same water with barge traffic.
Please be careful and always situates your kayak perpendicular to the swells every time the barge passing by.

Some weeks I can sneak away for a day, and some weeks not.

I would prefer fishing during the week, if someone else can go then. I am particularly interested in 2-3 October trips.

I'll try to remember to post up planned trips again. I quit bothering for a long time because there were no responses.

Bob, you said you are interested in marsh trips. I trust you know this forum is for offshore fishing?

Don't know what that implies. I meant no disrespect to Bob with what I said.
