New Spook Lure - smaller size
New Spook Lure - smaller size
Super Spook Boyo - should be perfect springtime topwater bait when smaller is better. Just ordered a Bone and a Clown. Should be great fun this summer in those early mornings!

Smith in Japan still offers the balsa version Spook Jr.
However, this isn't salty, because it's not easy to change the hooks.

Re: New Spook Lure - smaller size
That's a good-looking new Spook topwater lure, Shoffer. At 3 inches it's a bit smaller than the Spook Jr. which has caught many Speckled Trout for us. Has great potential for Spring fishing and under the lights.
I'll be ordering one too.

Love the smaller bait. I prefer to throw smaller baits majority of the year. Been looking for this size to hit the market for a while. Good find!

Re: New Spook Lure - smaller size
I bought one in the clown pattern a while back. Haven't caught anything great on it yet, but have had some good blowups. It's easier to work than a spook junior in my opinion.
Re: New Spook Lure - smaller size
Today would have been a good morning to try it out with the low winds, but I had stuff to do around the house and did not sleep all that well, so just didn't feel like it. That, along with 100-degree heat index and super heavy traffic on 45 South kept me in the house today.

Re: New Spook Lure - smaller size
My sweet little bone Spook Boyo arrived yesterday. Hope to try it out soon when Shoffer has the free time to go fishing. Am glad to hear, Yak Boi, that it's easy to "walk the dog" with it. Looking forward to some big blow-ups and hook-ups.

Re: New Spook Lure - smaller size
I went to see my mom for mother's day, but before I did, I stopped at a bass pond for 1 hour and threw this new baby. I really like it. Tight little walk the dog and heavy enough to get it out there. Caught 5 bass and missed two blow ups. Nothing big - maybe 1 lb, but fun anyway.

Thanks for the BOYO update, Capt. Shoffer!
Let's soon find out if it works in the saltwater, too.

Nice, Chicken. I got the clown version from Amazon the other day as it was on sale.
