Glad you got out! Those cobia can be frustrating creatures.

Re: Mayan!
Way to go on finding the cobia!! I wish I could of been down there with ya. Next time though.
Re: Mayan!
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
I do hope, however, that your obvious enthusiasm for fishing the rigs solo doesn't inspire anyone of only moderate kayaking skills to follow suit.

Cobia Awesome kingfish and great Cobia footage.
Re: Mayan!
I started off solo. I know folks frown on it but I couldn't line plans up with others and the need to go outweighed the risk for me. Are there risks......deffinatley. Folks do crazy stuff every day like driving on the freeway for example. It's not for everyone and I hope that a new person can get with someone but sometimes its hard to line up plans. I am not the sharpest tool in the shed though so take what I say with a grain of salt. Thanks for watching
Re: Mayan!
Awesome video man! I’ve been wanting to go out to the Mayan rigs but haven’t gotten the guts to do it yet. Usually only go to rig off of Bob Hall. I’m usually solo as well so that’s what makes it a little more nerve racking especially after those sharks you saw lol
