After launching we had started with topwaters, Spook Jr. for myself and a Finesse Frog for my sister. We got some really good action right off the bat.

After a few fish, we came up on to a great little waterfall; about 4 feet. Going to have to check it out when ever we get a decent flow.

The next pool down my sister saw a good bass swimming by her kayak and gave me direction on where to cast. I hooked up immediately and fought her on my light spinning setup. She quickly buried herself into the grass about 6 feet down; I could not get her unstuck without breaking the line. So I jumped in and swam to get her.

She even got video of it: https://youtube.com/shorts/8jjhgZB0Gxc?feature=share
The fishing was best for the first half of our trip, but we managed to catch some sunfish, small, bass and a single Guadalupe.

We were lucky and had overcast skies for most of the day before the sun broke out around 1 or so.

We forgot to discuss TKF business.
