Nueces Bay Still hot 11/17-11/18

Lots of fish both Red and Speckled. I threw both Glow/Chartreuse soft plastics and Spoons tipped with twister tails grubs.
Hard to keep the Bulls from destroying it all but these are good problems I suppose. Trout were mostly around 18" some notably more girthy than other which may be a matter of the sex. We saw some Ribbon fish too which was kewl. Awesome bait for another day
Bugs were biting too ofc.

I’d like to eat a ribbon fish. There’s a place I fish that large ribbon fish are frequently caught. I’ve been to the Asian markets in SW Houston and have seen the belt fish, a.k.a.ribbon fish for sale as a food fish there.

Bull redffish are tackle destroyers.
