Just figured I would take a minute and see if anyone in the Houston are has had any luck out at Sheldon. Any tips on baits?

I have fished it in the yak before. Caught 5 or so bass. Recommend some weed-less presentations. I am told that people's cars are often broken into there, and watch for gaters!

It's been a while since I fished Shelon, but I remember seeing enough cotton mouths to keep me from going back. Lots of gators, but they don't propose any danger.
