New but Old

Post by jwmason10 »

Hello All,

New to the forum, not necessarily new to the bays as I grew up in Houston and went fishing down here a ton growing up.

I am however picking up a new Native TitanX 12.5 this weekend to hit Christmas Bay and get my legs under me as it has been a minute.

I have done lots of paddlesports especially in college hutning out of canoes/kayaks, white water kayaking, catfishing, etc a ton. Been striper fishing big lakes in kayakas before, so really getting back on the bike.

Been doing tons of scouting, research, and effort into learning the bays. Can't wait to strike out after all of that research lol. I guess thats the fun of it. If anyone would like to linkup, would love to hear some experiences and knowledge. 36 dude being a dude, I live in Houston but always willing to travel. Would love someone to teach me about going BTB.

Welcome to the forum and to kayak fishing. Good luck this weekend.

I don't have too much experience in the upper coast, but I did enjoy my times fishing Christmas Bay and Cedar Lakes a little farther south.
