That place looks sweet! I am definitely going there soon. Let's hook up some weekend and hit it. I read somewhere you can paddle up the creek that feeds the lake and there are some nice holes in it. Did you go up the creek? Now I'm even more bummed that I couldn't go. I got to figure out a way to make a living by paddling/fishing.
kayak angler no i didn't go up the creek i was trolling the lake most of the
time. I should of went i was too busy exploring the lake that it feeds in
too. now, there are good spots for bass. they have what look like some
sort of grass/bamboo that grows very high which look good for some big
lunkers.

Hey Capt.,
Like that NRS sticker on your boat! Sorry I didn't get to chat more with you at the lake. I've been thinking about adding a T120 to the fleet. But, then I'd like to have a Prowler, Bimini, Cobra Tourer, Drifter and a Cabo too. I haven't found a kayak I didn't like. My wife thinks I'm nuts! Which I am about kayaks and fishing. Hell, I figure all those boats would cost me less than a decent bass boat and trailer. Though, you can only paddle one at a time. Next time we all get together I'd like to give your boat a paddle if you wouldn't mind.

Boerne Lake has been very, very good to me. First 2 bass on artificials (Bomber Model A medium diver dark brown crawfish, from the bank with a Zebco 33 combo) and first place to use a kayak and a flyfish (May 30, 2002).
I remember going there once 20 years ago on a Tuesday and being the only person there....
