Which Cabela's ???? I'm assuming you mean the Buda store but I'm hoping you mean Ft. Worth :wink:

With the money I could save with gas, I could buy a new Kistlers and have some change. Kistlers has always stepped up with promo's and prizes.

Woke up early to beat the crowds to Cabela's to chat with Fishman and Slowride. First time meeting either of them and it seems everything I've heard (the good stuff anyway) is true. They both seem like stand-up guys.

Went to Slowride's seminar at noon, but had to pull chocks and get to work after that. Fortunately, an (non-fishing, thank goodness) employee of mine offered to go to Fishman's seminar and enter the drawing for me.

He won!! He actually won!!

I thought he was jerkin' me around when he called to tell me. Turns out, I'm the proud owner of a pretty slick new rod. Amazing....I never win anything!!!
