and ignore the 98,000 people in the stands and the thousands of others watching you on TV.

I'll be there rooting you on. A friend of mine did it two years ago (missed the kick) and said he heard from friends he hadn't seen in years. Remember, they'll only be 100,000 people watching you. No pressure.

your probably in austin now but if you got internet access good luck and "Hook-em-Horns"!!!!! I'm thinking we might need the points more than the aggies if you make it, judging the play in this game the last few years. it took us a few years to get mack to understand the importance of beating OU but I still think he's clueless when it comes to A & M. don't worry about the 100,000 watching live or the millions watching on national tv. all you have to do is kick it through those uprights. now for goodness sakes at least try kicking it soccer style, there's a little more room for error that way and the last thing you want to do is have a little squibbly roll off the side of you foot. I hope I haven't given you too much to think about and if the pressure gets too great then cover your face with charcoal and put on an aggie helmut, that way if you miss it won't be much of a surprise.

Here's hoping the Ags beat UT, which I won't believe until I see it.

Good luck to you. Just think, even if you don't make it, you'll remember it for the rest of your life. But good luck, I'll be rooting for you. Oh and I second that "Go Bearkats!!" Class of 1988.

:D Just keep your head down all the way through, don't overstride and follow through...everything else will take care of itself. I spent 15 years coaching kickers, and you'd be amazed at some of the klutzes that turned into really good kickers! Best of Luck!

Well, he missed them but the crowd loved him and the Horns exacted a little revenge on the agros. He got closer than I would have!

Oh my God!

We were really cheering loudly for you. You were right in front of our seats at the 20. The crowd cheered louder and louder as you waved your hands up for more support, you took two steps back, and......

Ok, you really did not have anywhere that you wanted to fly to anyway.

Second try, we are all behind you again, two steps back, the screaming is deafening, you advance, your foot is into it...

that looked like one of my worm-burner golf shots!!! Damn!

Congratulations; you know that at least 90% of us in the stand would all most pay anything to be where you were! I really envied your opportunity. Since I saw your post I was trying to rack my brain to find a way for you to also promote TKF: wear a shirt with logo, bring your rod, kick a miniature kayak...but wearing the Burnt Orange was what it had to be.

Congratulations again and Hook'em!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was on the opposite end of the field but I'm pretty sure this was you. We were cheering for you. I'm guessing you weren't the least bit intimidated by the crowd.

Wish I saw this before today! I played soccer for 20+ years and kicked field goals semi-professionally (back in the day) and would have given you some pointers. That is a pretty cool experience!
