surf fishing?

anyone ltly been fishing the surf? off the seawall jetties? thinkin about going, with sunny weather and somewhat flat water but would it be better to go with a light south east wind or a light north wind?

Hey man,

Some fellas are doing a little BTB at HI tomorrow, and I am going along but to surf fish. Come along if you can. I have been out a bit lately and have done well with some big rull reds and a few slots. It may not be ideal right now, but I am having a hell of a time.

And as far as wind goes, if I can make a cast I am going. So strong easterly winds keep me at home.

Edit: I have only been hitting Galv and Matty lately.
