Rise Adventures Kick Off Summer Bash Saturday May 12, 2012

Just FYI, wanted to get the date up there so we can start getting the plastic navy reserves activated (self included).

So yea, those who have been before help spread the word & mark your calendars. Those who haven't had the pleasure, sign up it's a lot of work, a long day, but it's a blast! Let's dust off the HOW banners & fly em at the event, you never know who might be attending. We have served as many 100- 150 disabled folks in one day that may not have an opportunity to kayak on their own. If someone wants to give it a try it's our job to figure out a way to safely give them the opportunity.

We need as many tandem yaks as we can assemble and bring your extra boats & PFD's. As always kids PFD's are an issue so any that can be brought along would be great.

Location map, it's on the peninsula Perch E. Lane. Hope to see everyone there, I'll be there around 8 and I'll bring at least one of my big tents. I just talked to the event coordinator and this year the wheelchairs will have concrete access all the way down to the kayaks, we're basically gonna get our asses kicked.
