A surfing bud of mine from Corpus moved to San Clemente a few years ago, and keeps sending me these types of videos just to make me ill.

Once you've been a surfer -- the feelings and memories are always floating around somewhere in the grey matter.
These videos sure fire up those synapses!

I had seen the S. Fl footage from Sandy. Heavy.
I used to surf GOMex / Texas hurricane waves. Too hard to stay conditioned for that all year these days.
Last ones for me were Dennis, Katrina, and Wilma swell. 2005 ? Waves breaking in the ship channel at S padre for Dennis.

I take the 21'6" surfski out now on cleaned up swell - offshore wind days.
Catch open swell near the tip of S jetty in Port A if swell is 6' or so.
A blast.
