That's not just your fantasy, Dean. I've been pretty critical and very vocal about that too. It should be called the "mainly retired old farts tournament" because they're the only folks that can blow off their weekend plans and drive across the country on short notice.

I know for a fact that the two of us aren't alone either.

Maybe we could have the TEEF (Texas Extreme Edge Fishing)! We can have a tournament all up and down the coast. Think of the prize money!!! I am sure this would be an awesome task to do.

Any volunteers?

S & S would be a sponser...

Careful KK, I've been to three out of four and I've got two jobs. Ya just gotta figure out what's important.

All kidding aside I would love to see a set schedule put out in advance. I believe they're working on it for next year. Arnold is pretty determined to do it right.

Thanks Scott;
We are finalizing the schedule for next year. We have issues related to big sponsors (Where and When do they want to participate.). Jennifer, Rick and Myself are working to make this schedule happen. Believe me. It will be a boon for us to know in advance when and where the best kayak fishing tourney in the world will take place.

LD, Welcome back!

You know we'll be looking for a full report on your trip. With photos, of course!

I hope you had a fantastic time.

Well Dean, we might remove the "old" and "retired" from that statement.

I know you're working on it, Arnold. It's just a goal to fish every event next season.

Without a list of events it's likely that I'll be blind sided and stuck at work, a wedding, or some other lovely event besides competing with a rod and reel in hand.

What would be a nice start is:

1) Total number of events for 2005 and the locations we are trying to nail down so we know what scope we're dealing with.

Keep after them, LD.

My pleasure to announce the scedule is all set and will be announced by the one and only Mrs. Ride at FTU next Sat night, if we can get the band to quiet down a little. We'll have it, come get it...and Texas will be happy about the tour next year "I Guarantee".

You can plan on a cold 12 pack of Texas' finest, Shiner Bock.

if you like to fish alot, you've got to be willing to sacrifice. Went in to work today and got the AXEOLA! Guess they figured I reallly would'nt be fishing all the tournaments like I stated, before I took the job.

Oh well, three extra days to fish before Galveston. :)
