I had an excellent suggestion from one of our members.
Knot tying can be a mystery, and many of us ( including me) just use one knot for everything. I know that some of you can tie a Unit Knot with your eyes closed. Well, I can't. Sometimes loops come apart when I am trying to get a topwater tied on for moving fish... HELP!
So...ooooo... how about volunteering to show us two or three knots at the next meeting?
I have some blue/red/green/yellow 1/4 inch cord that would make the demonstration of the various turns and pulls clearer.
What I need is someone to "show us the ropes"! ( as they say)
Please volunteer here or PM me. Meeting is a week from Tuesday (July 2 ) at REI at the corner of FM 1960 (Cypress Creek parkway) and Route 249 ( Tomball parkway) at 6:45 until 8:45 p.m.
thanks, Rich
