Does anyone fish on Canyon Lake out of a yak? I have a Malibu Pro Explorer coming in any day now and I plan on using it on the lake and at the coast. I live near the lake and will use it to get the feel of my new yak.

I'm in NE SA fairly close to the lake myself. I've been thinking about hitting the lake with my kayak, but will probably wait until the summer crowd and boat traffic is over. If I do verture to it this summer, it will be a weekday. The fishing in the lake is hit or miss. I've been out there when suddenly a school of shad get worked to the surface and under it you can catch white bass, stripers, or black bass. DJ
