Who is the best kayak fishing guide in Houston, Galveston, Kemah, and everywhere in between area??????????? My cousin is thinking about getting into kayak fishing and I want his introduction to be a nice day on the water

Rick Spillman for sure is the best bet around the Galveston area as far as kayak guides go. I'd be veeeeeery hesitant of using mud minnow george. Go with rick and you'll be learning from a very accomplished tournament fisherman as well as an ACA certified paddling instructor.

I'm pretty sure Rick Spillman is who Tombo was referring to. I believe he was or may still be part of Team Ocean Kayak if they're still around. He is the only kayak guide I would call in this area.

I will personally recommend Rick Spillman from the Freeport area. Very experienced guide, fisherman and kayaker who is fun to go with whatever your skill level is.

Would you mind sharing your reasoning behind this? I have never hired him as a guide, don't really need to, but the times I have spoken with him he seemed quite knowledgable and very easy to get along with.
