Just fished a river bassin tournament in Austin this weekend. Took second place with a total of 52 inches on 3 fish. Also won biggest fish award for a 20" 4.5lber. Missed a real nice one that looked to be about 6-7lbs that woulda put me in 1st. Just thought it was cool to not be a local, fish a new river (the Colorado) and still place. Next stop on the river bassin trail is in Waco on June 7th, and we could hit the Brazos for that one. Be nice if some of yall could make it so we could represent the West Texans and show them that despite our lack of water, we still know how its done.
