Hey Terry, I know how you love the Alpine/Fort Davis area. I'm here shooting the Big Bend Livestock Show and went out between all my duties and got some photos. I thought you might like them.

These were during the ice storm on Friday....





And here are a few from today on my way down Hwy 118 towards Terlingua going to visit some friends on their ranch.







Alpine area never gets old. You need to get back down there!

Those are some beautiful photos of a beautiful place!

Many (did I say "many"? ) years ago I spent several days in Fort Davis during a heavy wet snowstorm. Driving the loop through the Davis Mountains and the canyon to Alpine was surreal.
