Well, lake O.C. Fisher at San Angelo State Park is running about 30' deep... While there hasn't been any catfish or bass stocked in it yet, there are some big gar and big cats that washed down the river during the last 3 floods....

I could get us the pavilion one Saturday, we could launch right down at Red Arroyo boat ramp and go out the to see who could get the biggest gar or catfish...

Make it a 2 lure entry... Soft plastics, crankbaits, topwaters, etc...

Winner take all..

Biggest gar... Biggest catfish..

Oh, and there are a good amount of Crappie out there. If we want to add Crappie, we could make it a 3 lure tournament..

And don't spend $7 on a lure.. Buy a spinnerbait or some inexpensive crankbait, etc...

Sounds like fun. I never know what my schedule will look like anymore, so set a date and I'll be there if I can. Can't wait to CPR that 7' alligator gar on my hog trough!!!

Sounds good to me. My only issue, of course, I can't get out of work until 4pm on any Saturday. But I can always come out after. Get Joel to come down with some more hog meat and let's have another cook off to!
