Good water and great fishing at Amistad lately, but the wind and intermittent thunderstorms have been proving to be a pain in the third point of contact. Been wanting to make some test runs from Rough Canyon to 277N with the yak fully loaded with the gear I intend to use to paddle the Devil's River with, but the winds have been steady blowing, and getting up there past noon to 15-20ish.....

I've got buddies on the Pecos right now. They left from Pandale on Saturday with all the storms around. Two of them were with me in the Great Pecos Flood of 2014. The water still looks good from the hydrographs and actually has been dropping over the last week at Pandale and the Weir gauging station. Wish I could have gone with them.
