SETXHOW and UCKA Fun Family Safety Day at Boomtown USA

Heroes on the Water-Southeast Texas Chapter is co-hosting with Upper Coast Kayak Anglers to put on a Fun Family Safety Day at Boomtown USA for our brothers and sisters at the Lamar University Veteran Affairs. ALL Veterans, First Responders and Kayakers are welcome, please spread the word.
This event will be August 27th from 9am-2pm.

ACA Certified Instructor Jeff Herman will be there demonstrating deep water reentry from the kayak and other techniques when flipping your kayak in open water.
This will be a family event, load the kayaks up, bring the neighbors kind of day.
We will be serving links, boudain, chips, soft drinks and bottled water.
