Jackson Cuda HD Dragonfly 5 Install

Post by dquinn01 »

Picked up my new Cuda HD this week and finished up the Dragonfly depth finder installation. Really not much info out on the interwebs about this yak since it is brand new, so I figured I would share my installation of the Dragonfly 5 Pro. I ended up using the Yak Gear scupper transducer installation kit and was happy with the outcome and quality of components. The watertight thru-hull bulkheads are from Hobie and include a variety of single and dual cable grommets for various installations. They also include several blanks to fill the hole in the event you need to remove the depth finder. I decided on the Nocqua 10Ah lithium Ion battery and mounted it in the front hatch area by cutting a slot in the structural foam block and routing velcro through the slot and around the battery pack. Can't wait to get it out on the water in the morning. I will be posting an overall review soon.
