BTB High Island Tuesday 5/8

It's a bit early to trust the forecast 100%, but Tuesday is looking like ice cream conditions.
I'm looking for partners for a bull red and shark trip. I'll be fishing from early morning to midafternoon.

does the kingfish ever make it up here close enuf to shore for yaks?

If the water is clear then yes! Last week my buddy caught one about 200 yards offshore in matagorda!

I've been BTB fishing the Bolivar Pensula to Sabine Pass area for 10 years. I've never heard of a king being caught from a kayak up here. I don't really know why. There are plenty of smacks at times.
Kings below Galveston, yes.
