Texas Bayou

Post by Scottyboy »

Went to Texas Bayou yesterday with Duby and Cajun Angler. Both Duby and Phil caught one rat red, I caught nothing with only a couple of bumps for the whole day. We had good water movement with lots of bait in the grass. Maybe next time.

Thanks for the report. I have been wondering what was going on down there. Not much being reported lately. I wish you had better luck.

Don't feel bad. Some of guides are not doing well either. I managed 4 reds in the Sabine Refuge the same day. Did not get a strike in the lake and bait was everywhere.

Duby, you might want to add that info you posted about Keith Lake here too. It's not that far away.

Man! If it ain't one thing it's something worse, this crap is getting ridiculous. Fishing almost ain't worth the risk, anymore. :x
